01 · The challenge
Murex's existing break room was a closet of vending machines that no one used. Leadership wanted a hospitality-grade staff kitchen that would pull people out of their offices at lunch — built inside an occupied corporate floor.
02 · The approach
KMR coordinated nightly demolition windows with building security, ran new plumbing and gas lines through an active ceiling, and held millwork installation over a weekend so Monday morning landed with finished cabinetry and a cleaned floor.
03 · The outcome
The kitchen now serves as the floor's de-facto hub. Murex extended the same finishes into two later projects with KMR.
